welcome
Our quest for quality began in 1985 when the stud was first formed to produce bulls for our own commercial herd, run on the Central Highlands of Queensland.
Top quality functional bulls and females were sourced from leading studs and a large emphasis was placed on selecting practical, beef type cattle with the strong commercial traits of bone, length, muscling, temperament, calving ease and mothering ability.
Our quest for quality continued in 1994 when we imported three sires from the JDH AND V8 ranches from the USA.
Since then, we have purchased many top young sires in Australian. In 2003 we purchased Tartrus Rembrandt Manso for $50,000 and El Ja Taco for $32,000 in 2005.
In 2007 we secured the exciting young sire Elrose Philistine Manso 5017 for $55,000.
We also utilise many sires from leading ranches from the USA in our artificial breeding program.
In recent years we have purchased some top quality females to further strengthen our female herd and embarked in an extensive embryo transfer program to fast track our continued quest for quality.
With a strong female base and the influence of these sires, we have produced a good quality female herd with strong bloodlines.
